Gloto's management team consists of experienced executives, entrepreneurs, and technologists that have a track record of building successful businesses and delivering high-quality software products and services.

Eric Conn (Co-founder, President and CEO) is an accomplished entrepreneur, executive, technologist, and software engineer. He received a BS in Computer Science/Mathematics from UMBC in 1985 and an MS in Computer Science from the Johns Hopkins University in 1989. Following a 10-year career at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, Mr. Conn joined Solipsys Corporation at its inception and held positions of increasing responsibility including VP of Engineering, COO, and General Manager and helped to grow the company to $40M in annual revenue prior to its sale to Raytheon Company in 2003. Mr. Conn was instrumental in the design, development, and marketing of Solipsys' enterprise software products sold worldwide and led the implementation of the NORAD Contingency Suite (NCS) air defense system deployed throughout the U.S. immediately after 9/11 to protect the nation against potential terrorist threats. He also serves on the External Advisory Board of the Alex. Brown Center for Entrepreneurship at UMBC.

Warren Citrin (Co-founder, Board Member) is an accomplished businessman and engineer who received the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2003. He received a BSEE from the University of South Carolina in 1973 and an MS in Applied Mathematics from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1976. Mr. Citrin led numerous system engineering and radar processing programs over his 18-year career at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory before co-founding Solipsys Corporation in 1996. As CEO of Solipsys, he provided strategic vision and leadership to grow the company before it was sold to Raytheon Company, a Fortune 50 company, in 2003.

David Weil (Acting SVP Sales) has spent over 20 years in sales and sales management in the software sector. Mr. Weil has lead the sales teams for publicly traded companies, mid stage growth companies and startups and has been the head of sales during both acquisitions and IPOs. He served in sales management roles at Visigenic software during the Borland acquisition, Valtech systems during the IPO on the Nouveau Marche, the IPO of Sona Mobile (NASDAQ SNMB), and the IPO of SmartServ Online (NASDAQ SNMB). Mr. Weil has become a recognized leader in the Mobile Application industry, heading up sales for several mobile application development companies over the last 10 years. He has been featured as a speaker at CTIA and BlackBerry's WES, as a panelist at Risk Waters events, and as a consultant to Cantor Fitzgerald Wireless, IBMs IGS team, and Wireless Physics. Mr. Weil has been active in all aspects of design, development and implementation of wireless applications, and brings with him a wide breadth of experience in leading successful sales efforts for promising software companies.

Tony Jacobs (VP, Technology) is an experienced software developer, systems engineer, and project manager. He received BS degrees from the University of Maryland in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in 2000. He served as the Technical Director, Software, and Systems Engineering Lead of several Department of Defense programs as a former employee of Solipsys Corporation focusing on correlation, fusion, displays, and system design. Mr. Jacobs has extensive knowledge as a C++ and Java developer and has served as an adjunct professor at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD.

Board of Advisors

Gregg Smith (Executive Management) is a visionary executive who leads public and private companies through critical stages of development and cultural change in the digital media, software and wireless telephony sectors. Gregg has executed transactions worth nearly half a billion dollars, including the sale of seven companies, and is an innovative manager who creates shareholder value by launching, building, refocusing and restructuring enterprises while leading teams that meet and exceed performance targets in competitive, changing environments. He was the CEO of Acuity Mobile from the early stage investment cycle through to acquisition by NOKIA. Previously, he was Corporate Vice President of Aether System, helping build a $9 billion market capitalization in less than two years.

Celine Takatsuno (Strategy) is the founder of Gracepoint, Inc., a strategic development consultancy guiding growth-stage organizations in interactive marketing and media technology. Focused on defining business, market and revenue opportunities, she brings 15 years experience leading startup teams, and a deep background working with online advertising and e-commerce solution providers. She has directed business development and marketing initiatives at companies including Keibi Technologies (now Lithium) and Teracent (now Google), and led sales and strategic alliances at Commission Junction, a ValueClick company. She is actively involved in Semantic Web and social enterprise communities. She graduated from the University of San Francisco.
